Summer’s here and so begins the NYC obsession with drinking in elevated places!! Tues night was with Cantab, overlooking the whole of Central Park from the south end from NY Athletic Club, Friday night’s choice was the bar on the top of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It only opens during the summer and only on a Friday night – had been wanting to go for ages, so myself and a friend, Lou, finally went to check it out. Usually these places are heaving but it was surprisingly uncrowded and enough space to move about and check out the amazing views of the park and city skyline. There were also some massive iron sculptures too, so you got some culchah too whilst sipping your mojito! All in all, very pleasant!
